BiH Defense Minister Challenges Vučić to Public Walk, Criticizes Policies

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Defense Minister, Zukan Helez, publicly challenged Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Facebook. Helez claimed BiH authorities watched Vučić closely during his visit, suggesting he would have faced arrest if a warrant existed. He criticized Vučić for needing staged public appearances, describing them as controlled events with paid attendees.

Helez dared Vučić to walk freely with him through Serbian cities like Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš. Helez, as BiH Defense Minister, and Vučić, as Serbia's President, would test their popularity. Helez argued that Vučić's 'Greater Serbian policy,' while claiming to protect Serbs, has actually led to fewer Serbs in many areas. He stated this policy causes division and emigration.

The minister accused Vučić of using nationalism and inventing enemies to hide corruption and failures. Helez predicted Vučić's regime would soon end, much like Viktor Orbán's. Helez clarified his criticism is not against the Serbian people, many of whom are his friends. Instead, he opposes the 'Greater Serbian policy' that denies crimes, seeks to redraw borders, and promotes division over peace.
