Bosnian Islamic Community Condemns Attacks, Vows Legal Protection for Religious Leaders
The Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has condemned recent media and political attacks. These attacks target its religious leaders, muftis and imams. The Community believes these are organized efforts to discredit them and pressure their work. It plans to use all legal options to protect their dignity and mission.
The Community stated that attacks on religious officials, especially from political groups, harm religious freedom. It views such actions as an assault on the entire community. While public criticism is fine, the current campaigns aim to silence these religious authorities. The Islamic Community will protect its officials in public life.
