Bosnian Parties Seek Review of RS Criminal Code on Army Symbols
Eleven members of parliament from the SDA and DF parties today asked the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to review Article 359b of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska. This article makes it a crime to publicly display or promote flags and symbols of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The lawmakers also requested a temporary measure. This measure would stop the law from being applied. They stated that this is necessary to prevent lasting and irreparable damage.
