Hit Play 'Murder on the Orient Express' Returns to Sarajevo Stage
IllustrationSarajevo will once again feature the famous crime classic, "Murder on the Orient Express." This play is based on Agatha Christie's work, adapted by Ken Ludwig, and directed by Andrej Cvetanovski. It will be shown at the National Theatre Sarajevo on June 1, 3, and 30, with performances starting at 7:30 PM.
The story takes place on the famous Orient Express. The train gets stuck in a snowy night, and a passenger is murdered. Detective Hercule Poirot must investigate. He uncovers many secrets among the other eight passengers. The play explores a key question: what is more important, justice or the law?
Bosnian actor Mario Drmać plays Hercule Poirot. Faruk Hajdarević also stars. The show features a spectacular visual design. Džejna Hodžić is the dramaturg. Adisa Vatreš Salimović created the sets and costumes. Mirza Redžepagić composed the music, and Moamer Šaković designed the lighting.
