Nedzad Grabus Elected as New Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Reis-ul-Ulema Husein Kavazovic addressed the public following the election of the new head of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He congratulated the newly elected Reis-ul-Ulema, Nedzad Grabus. Kavazovic expressed satisfaction with the smooth and successful election process.
He stated that changing times require new steps and visions for the Community. He wished Grabus good health and strength to guide and develop the institution. Kavazovic also praised the democratic maturity of the voting system and commended all candidates for their dignity.
He specifically thanked the other candidates, Salem Dedovic and Mensur Malkic, for their honorable conduct. The official handover ceremony will take place on November 15 at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo.
