Former KLA Commanders Convicted of War Crimes at The Hague
A court in The Hague has convicted four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, including ex-President Hashim Thaçi, for war crimes. Thaçi and Jakup Krasniqi received 25-year sentences, Kadri Veseli 18 years, and Rexhep Selimi 13 years. This is a first-instance verdict, leading to protests in Pristina and The Hague.
