Canadian Mayors Support Srebrenica Remembrance and Bosnian-Herzegovinian Ties
A Bosnian-Herzegovinian delegation met with Ottawa and Hamilton mayors to advance Srebrenica genocide remembrance and strengthen ties with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mayors pledged support for educational initiatives, memorials, and naming a street "Srebrenica" in each city. They also agreed to a proposal to twin Sarajevo with both Canadian cities.
