Remembering the Sjeverin Massacre Thirty-Four Years Later
Thirty-four years have passed since the abduction and murder of 17 Bosniak civilians from Sjeverin by Serbian paramilitaries. Human rights groups are calling on Serbia to locate the remaining missing bodies and grant official victim status to the deceased. Most remains have never been found despite the conviction of the perpetrators in 2005.
