Palestinian Diplomat Honored in Sarajevo Farewell Event

The Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a farewell ceremony in Sarajevo. It honored Waseem Faraj, the First Secretary of the Palestinian Embassy in BiH. The community thanked him for his professional work. They also recognized his efforts to strengthen ties between Palestine and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mirsad Bešić from BiH's Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended. Mohammad Al-Brawi, the Palestinian Chargé d'affaires, was also there. Dr. Majed Maarouf, president of the Palestinian Community, spoke. He said Faraj built strong relationships and connected the two nations. Mr. Bešić praised Faraj's professional coordination with BiH institutions.

Faraj received awards from various groups. He thanked everyone, saying his friendships in BiH would last forever. He added that Bosnia and Herzegovina would always remain in his heart.
