Prijedor Commemorates Genocide Victims on Day of White Ribbons
The Day of White Ribbons, May 31st, commemorates the genocide victims from Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1992, non-Serbs were ordered to wear white ribbons, a prelude to mass killings and concentration camps. The annual remembrance fights denial and honors the 3,176 killed or missing, including 102 children, despite ongoing attempts to obstruct the truth.
