The Management Board of the Srebrenica Memorial Center stated it never had the list recently mentioned in public. This statement came after an urgent meeting. The meeting concerned reports of former and current employees being questioned by police.
The Board supports its employees and Director Emir Suljagić. They expect authorities to handle the case professionally and fairly. They also want to correct misinformation linking the Board to the list. The Zvornik Police Department reportedly holds this list.
The Management Board approved the Director's initiative for an independent audit. This audit will transparently determine all facts. They also distanced themselves from any private actions by individuals. The Board said it is not responsible if someone obtained or shared a list without official approval. It will continue to monitor the situation to protect the Center's integrity.
