BOXMARK Leather, a leading leather manufacturer based in Lukavac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has secured new business contracts for the next seven to eight years. This will lead to significant production expansion and the creation of hundreds of new jobs.

Matej Bastič, the company's director, announced that BOXMARK Leather currently employs 1,000 people. The company aims to increase its workforce to 1,200 by the end of this year. An additional 300 workers are planned for hire next year. This means a total of 500 new positions will be created.

The company's growth plans were discussed during a visit from Federation of BiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry Vedran Lakić to the Lukavac factory. Prime Minister Nikšić praised BOXMARK Leather's success and its plans for job creation. He stated that the government's role is to support businesses and foster an environment where successful companies can grow and employ more people. Nikšić emphasized that the Government of the Federation of BiH must stand by economic projects that contribute to the local economy and open new job opportunities. BOXMARK Leather is a major employer in the Tuzla Canton and a key player in the domestic leather industry.
